Build houses and make yourselves at home; plant gardens and eat what they produce. Seek peace and prosperity for your city and pray for its well-being. For when your city thrives, you also will thrive. I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord — “plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you a hope and a future.Jeremiah 29

Where We’ve Been

In 2011, Holy Cross Lake Mary, Holy Cross Lutheran Academy and two new church plants, the Cross Orlando and theCross Mount Dora formed the Central Florida Cross Network (CFLCN) to better bring Jesus to everyone by meeting the needs of the community and growing the faith of all who believe. They knew that God was doing great things in Central Florida, and He was calling them to be a part of that change. CFLCN set Vision 2020 with a goal to be eight churches and a completely developed school by the year 2020. Over the next four years funds were raised that enabled the network to join with New City Church in Dr. Phillips, launch The Table a new church in DeLand, and purchase land and buildings for a high school in Sanford.
During this same time period, the young network was active in their communities as they started four non-profits that are actively serving the needs of their communities: Downtown Credo in Orlando, Lake Cares Food Pantry in Mount Dora, The Oasis in Longwood and Hand in Hand ministries in Lake County.

Where We’re Headed

The time has come to ensure that we finish the goals that were set for Vision 2020. Each of the five churches and the school have set financial goals that will allow the network to continue to plant and build. Together we will raise 3.2 million dollars that will allow the churches and the school to continue to grow. This money will also provide the funding for three more church plants and $500,000 to provide grant funding for projects identified by community non-profits.

You can see just how these churches are changing lives as you look through the following content. We pray that you will prayerfully consider being a part of this Plant and Build campaign.
