Meeting The Needs of The Community

Growing The Faith of all who believe

Simple words to be sure yet not such a simple task. The communities in which we serve are growing and changing. The needs we have been meeting over the past 30 years may not be the needs for the next 30 years. As we have expanded from a church planted in Lake Mary Florida in 1984 to a network of ministries serving Central Florida, we have eveloved and will continue to evolve. Where do we go next? We know the Lord will open a door to make it very evident and we will walk in faith to meet the needs of a new community and grow the faith of many more.

The network is involved in many worshipping communities and educational ministries in the area.

Worshipping Communities

Holy Cross Lake Mary – http://www.hclm.org

Our Lake Mary campus has been at the heart of Lake Mary for 30 years yet is always reaching new families and growing by meeting more of the needs of the community. Our family friendly church provides several worship opportunities on Sunday with mid-week activities for kids and grown-ups. One of Central Florida’s largest Boy Scout troops is sponsored by us and we are known for our Family Serve events where people of all ages get invilved in meeting the needs of the community.

The Cross Mount Dora – http://thecrossMD.org

The Cross Mount Dora began worshipping in 2011 with a group of families committed to meeting the needs of the community and growing the faith of all who believe. The group met in houses and eventually the Chamber of Commerce before settling in at the intersection of 441 & Donnelly where we currently provide several worship opportunities. Our L-Teams are a great way to connect with each other and with the community.

The Cross Orlando – http://theCrossOrlando.org

The story unfolds on Sundays at this discreet warehouse in the Mills/50 district of downtown Orlando. This fellowship of knowledge seekers grow in the understanding while growing in relationship to one another. The Sunday experience is immersed in music and enhanced with a shared meal. The community gets involved during the week and shares a passion for fellowship and service.

New City Church – http://NewCityNow.com

The Dr. Phillips area is known for church row – you won’t find us there. This family friendly meeting takes place at Palm Lake Elementary at features City Kids with well planned activities for the young ones while the conversation takes place. Don’t be surprised if the banjo playing pastor has you thinking about the message all week.

Upper School
The Aero Lane campus is home to the Upper School at Holy Cross Lutheran Academy. Stundet in Grades 5th through High School (beginning in 2015-2016 school year) will have a rigorous academic foundation enhanced by arts and athletics.
